Glutamine is an amino acid found in gelatin that has been proven to improve the lining of the gastro intestinal tract. Strengthening the GUT lining can prevent things like leaky gut and food sensitivities. When the lining of the digestive tract is damaged, proteins and other substances can leak out into the bloodstream. Known as leaky gut. This can cause an immune response, and over time it may lead to other disease states such as autoimmune disease.
