Bone broth is one of the simplest and most nutritious things you can make. You throw everything into either a large pot filled to the top with water or a slow cooker, and walk away!! You can use either: chicken carcass or fish bones or marrow bones.
Alternatively, you could use your slow cooker and leave it on all night. Add whole vegetable or just the skins, such as pumpkin, celery and leaves, carrot, capsicum, basil, parsley, onion and garlic (if you have a weak digestion leave out the onion and garlic).
I add a tablespoon of Digestive Health – food grade gelatin to my bone broth. I put gelatin in EVERYTHING!! Bring to the boil and then simmer for 4 hours. Again you can use your slow cooker and leave it on all night. Strain all the bones and vegetables out and you will be left with beautiful bone broth/stock to use for soups, stews, gravies. And it is full of gelatin.
